The Dutch water boards are responsible for the management of quality and quantity of water in the Netherlands Geographic information systems (GIS) make significant contributions to the activities of water boards, both for the internal provision of information and for communication with surrounding organisations. The standard systems for the water boards are ESRI INTWIS/IRIS. Realworld Systems has suitable knowledge and experience of the various solutions.
The updated IRIS environment at water boards uses ArcGIS 9.2 and ArcGIS Server 9.2. Realworld Systems has a very high knowledge level of these products and therefore complies well with the wishes of the water boards. For instance, ArcGIS Server offers a very powerful development environment through its mobile ADF, which is excellent for used in inspection processes.
